Um… what other comments? Aside from the fact your response is a bit out of touch, I also noticed it was filled with spam. I actually had to change your name and website just to get to the message… Try reading the article before you actually comment on it. Do you even know what Reiki is? Did your bot find the word education and you figured you could just post your link garbage here? Very well, you’ve done your damage, now please do not spam us again.

The world is exactly what we make it. and how we choose to see it.
Even if we have challenges, we can learn from them and the all important issue is trusting that what needs to happen, will happen, even if it isn’t what we want.

We do have a choice in how we see and react to things, so why not focus on the positive and attract that in to your life.

Ken, this is so important for Reiki practitioners to know and understand . As we have seen and heard from our students how many people suddenly feel something that they weren’t feeling when they started a session. The important question here is, is their their own or does it belong to the client.
Not only is “washback” real and happens but also as we teach how to protect oneself from that. Doing the “sphere of protection” is another really important concept that goes hand in hand with the washback effect.

Teaching concepts are important but it is through one’s one experience as a practitioner that one finds out if the teaching is correct or not. For us this Usui tradition teaching isn’t what actually happens.

Ken, so well said, it is so much easier to look outside of ourselves and blame others for a situation that exists. It’s so much easier to remove ourselves from taking any responsibility for “our part” in what’s going on. I believe that I can and do ‘speak my truth’ but if someone doesn’t take what I’ve said to heart or do what I think needs to be done, i can’t do it for them or change them. That change needs to come from themself.
Even if someone doesn’t make the change immediately they may do it later. The point here is I still need to say what I need to say.and/or do what I need to do.

In regards to companies, corporations, the governement, what is important to me is they take responsibilies for their actions or non actions, even if it doesn’t correct a situation that exists. If they can’t get the desired result, for ex. BP, maybe they need to let someone else take over and still take financial responsibility. if after all this is said and done sometimes ‘it’s better to light the candle than curse the darkness”.

In being a Reiki master, there is the ethical component that comes with this level of energywork. It is doing what is in your or someone else’s highest good. I can not change the past but I do have the ability to not do the same thing in the present or future. Thus demonstrating that I have learned from the past and won’t repeat it.
